Emergency Flood Assistance Program
The New York State Affordable Housing Corporation is making funding available for emergency housing repairs for income-qualified homeowners in Clinton, Essex and Hamilton counties who have recently experienced damage from flooding and where the damage is not covered by other programs or insurance.
What is covered:
Repairs to address damage to a primary residence that occurred as a direct cause of flooding and which are necessary to make the home safe, sanitary, and functional.

Applications will be accepted starting Friday, August 11, 2023, and will be available until funds run out.
